Prayer and Liturgy
Prayer and liturgy are at the heart of daily life at St Edward’s Catholic Primary School, creating a rhythm of worship that nurtures the spiritual growth of every child. The schools planned provision for prayer follows the liturgical year. It provides regular opportunities for pupils to pray together, reflect quietly, and participate in meaningful liturgical celebrations that deepen their relationship with God. From daily classroom prayers to whole‑school liturgies, Masses, and seasonal celebrations, children learn to recognise God’s presence in their lives and express their faith with reverence and joy. These shared moments of worship help to strengthen the school community, fostering unity, gratitude, and a sense of belonging rooted in the Catholic tradition.
